The Swallow Bird 2011
This exhibition reimagines the swallow as a symbolic creature floating between geopolitical borders and imagined freedom, becoming a metaphor for the Palestinian self. It contemplates “deferred freedom” and the entrapment of childhood within closed realities through repetitive forms and sharp lines that simulate erosion and confinement.
